1912 öppnade ett nytt modehus i Paris; Vionnet. Grundaren och designern Madeleine Vionnet blev känd för sina draperade klänningar i grekisk stil. Hon har kallats "Queen of the bias cut" och "the architect among dressmakers". Den 24:e februari i år meddelade Matteo Marzotto, tidigare General Manager och President på Valentino att han hade köpt upp det anrika modehuset. Spännande, det vore fantastiskt att få se lite Vionnet-klänningar igen på catwalken!

In 1912  a new fashion house opened in Paris; Vionnet. The founder and designer Madeleine Vionnet became known for her  bias cut dresses in greek style. She has been called "Queen of the bias cut"; and "the architect among dress makers" The 24th of February this year  Matteo Marzotto, former General Manager and President of Valentino, announced that he had bought the fashion house. Exciting, it would be fantastic to see some Vionnet-dresses on the catwalk again!
